Tutoring, also called day training, refers to direct lessons between dog and trainer. I come to your home and work with your dog there, or take your dog out in the world for real-life training. This type of training is usually purchased in a package. I recommend 3 x per week for 3 weeks, with a total package of 10 lessons. In addition to my one-on-one work with your dog, I will supply a couple video updates and/or emails during the training, keeping you up to date on our progress. Our tenth lesson will include the humans, to go over the dog’s new skill(s), cue words, hand gestures, and any other information or instruction needed.
Common topics for this approach to tutoring include loose-leash walking, mat training, wait and stay, and most basic behaviors.
